No sample preparation

MetroSperm's probe is directly immersed into the ejaculate. There is no need to process the sample as this is the case with other analytical methods. This saves time and labware. Errors are avoided.

No computations

MetroSperm displays the final results as needed by the user:

• The number of insemination doses that can be obtained...
• ...and the volume of semen-extender to be added.

... instead of the concentration given as millions per millilitre displayed by other devices, which forces the user to perform further computations.

Parameters

The left and right buttons allow to adjust the value of the following parameters:

• Volume of the ejaculate
• Percentage of abnormal forms
• Volume of an insemination dose
• Number of spermatozoa in an insemination dose

On adjustment of any of this parameters, results will be immediately updated on the display.
