Allthough having been specifically designed to analyse boar semen, MetroSperm is also able to perform as a generic photometer, since it can display results in terms of absorbance.
The photometric sensor measures absorbance at three wavelengths simultaneously:
The photometric sensor has been optimised to analyse highly concentrated samples and is therefore able to measure reliably up to absorbances of 3Abs.
